About
Anne Pine Design is the product of lifelong athlete and artist, Stephanie Anne McCarthy, who is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a keen sense of color and composition. After receiving a BFA degree in Illustration from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, she moved to Eugene, Oregon to pursue a Masters in Arts Management at the University of Oregon. Throughout her life, she has sought to balance her love of the arts with being active in the outdoors to fuel her inspiration. Growing up near the sand dunes of Lake Michigan - combined with the forests and mountains in Oregon - have provided much solace over her lifetime which she would like to share with others. Some of Stephanie’s projects include editorial cartoons, professional infographics, logo design, and custom illustrations; even restoring an antique safe with hand-drawn appliqué.

Anne Pine is a combination of Stephanie’s middle name and one of the very numerous trees here in the PNW - the pine! - and highlights nature’s role throughout her life and work. Working in the Outdoor Industry for most of her professional career, Steph has grown to love how the pine tree embodies all things outdoor and symbolizes the “get out and have fun” mentality!
